When the salmon are spawning on the Sacramento and Feather Rivers in the fall, it's primetime for steelhead fishing. Fly and conventional anglers are welcome. Double digit days are not uncommon. Conventional anglers will drift glo-bugs and roe from the boat through riffles and runs. Fly anglers will wade out and cast nymph setups on floating line and drift productive water deemed too difficult to wade. All wild steelhead must be released promptly after being photographed, but hatchery fish may be harvested at our client's discretion. Prime dates are October 15th-December 15th.
